Sometimes if you have same router connection names but different passwords Ex:
Router name: ProlinkH5004 [This is your home router, up & running]
ProlinkH5004 [This is your friend's router, up & running]
Even if they are two different routers, windows have a jinx with what to do with these two connections. So sometimes you may have this problem.
No problem at all. It's better if you can create a system restore point and reinstall your manufacturer wifi drivers. If you're running windows 8 or 8.1 wifi connection can be tricky. :/

it's a legendary philosophical sci fi novel about morality of an android and i think it questions where being machine stops and human starts..I wanted to read it cos it was adapted to film as 'blade runner' one of my all time favorite films you should read it too.
