    hehe... I think people should not exclude science / relgious beliefs...
    There could truths in both sides. Nevertheless, we are capable yet to come to clear conclusions regarding these matters :)

    Don't become a dogmatic scientist :P There are millions of things which can't be proven with concrete demonstrations :P

    But I don't know, I think it kinda block your mind, always based on rules... I like subjects which give you the freedom to think ...

    hehe, Geometry is a basic, fundamental part of art :P especially sculpture ya.
    And the prospective ( By Brunelleschi ), all based on math. formulas. XD
    Well, I don't "hate" maths, I love biology and I'm attracted by physics too, nevertheless I find maths bit too concrete and pragmatic... should say even dogmatic :D what most of the scientists are nowadays.

    Ok, I admit that regarding gothic art they were brilliant, but during Renaissance ( art which was highly influenced by classic art ), they were not really active.

    When Napoleon attacked Italy and controlled it for sometime, he managed to steal a lot of precious statues and paintings, which now are at the Louvre.


    And, observing this statue bit better, you can see it doesn't look really polished ( like roman / greek statues were ). Maybe it's simply a french statue with a lil tone of classic art.

    Love the statue :) Can't clearly understand whether it's greek or roman.

    Nevertheless, the awards about this kind of sculpture is highly given to greeks.
