    I think, this dose not apply for the people who goes outside the country through personal contact with company or person. my experience never send money to back to SL. always keep money with account in working country. when need money can withdraw through ATM.

    most of the Canadian living near US/Canada boarder, i know people lives beyond boarder, most of them living in oil field or any other mining fields, i also work between us/Canada boarder means building bridge across the Saint Lawrence river, not a big deal, Canada tax more but benefits more...

    international tenders not so simple, I have experiences work with international tenders in different countries, normally they do not select the lowest contractor, After free qualifying only they can bid for the tender, after that select the suitable contractor not a lowest one.
