    Well it depends..The 7600 is faster so it will give you more FPS in a game....The 8500GT is slightly slower but has Direct X10 over Direct X9c on the 7600....Also the 8500GT has hardware accalaration for HD content and all... Lastly quality wise the 8500, performance wise the 7600(slightly faster)

    You can try the Geforce 7600GS which is about 8.5k and the Geforce 8500GT which is little over 10k....Radeon in not available or very hard to find.......
