i checked some stuff at tomshardware. 8500 outperforms q6600 in games/RTS... but i think in the long run Q6600 will still be a good investment...? as new games will take advantage from the 4 cores...
when deciding on a processor, is it worth going for a quad ? i mean does many games utilize 4 logical processors? because if many games are still not utilizing it i think i can go for a E8400/E8500?
