    Also to my experience a sony or samsung which you can find in SL lasts only for 1 year.....After a year reading problems and writing problems occur.... Something like Liton or creative...lasts for a long time.....(According to my experience and IMHO)........

    Then how can you tell its not good? I got a used 8x Creative DVD writer(IDE).Couldnt find brand new.....It supported UDMA 4 where the normal writers at that time supported UDMA 2......Not only that i had no problems with that writer!

    Unity eke nam thiyenne Samsung,Sony....2ma SATA and Rs.4000.......I prefer Sony though.....I would go for creative over anything IMHO......
