    i'll give a try, but i installed amarok because i thought it had an eq !! gimme a player that has an eq not xmms, its old keepin it as a last resort. u know python?

    OK another problem ! Installed amarok on gnome but nothings playing!! the interface loads up other stuff is working but not the player and hey dont the new amarok have an eq??

    I had the same problem with an ATI card goto nVidia site download the driver for linux (debian/ubuntu) run it the info on how to run the file you download is in this thread a few pages back

    net works perfectly i have a router :P i just tryied to install the drivers that are recommended by ubuntu u know that things that pops out sayin u have new driver releases from ATi and can be downloaded it worked for 8.04LTS not for 9

    hmm gotta look at the release notes if they say that the xserver problem with video cards is fixed then i'll do that.. I hate to use ubuntu with out emerald ;) and compiz !! :lol:

    Ubuntu 9 didnt go well on my one stucked up because of my ATI video card mann was so hard to configure it but never worked!! m gona dl fedora 11 is that good? :P i mean good for a ubuntu user?
