    I was about to suggest liquid nitrogen leaving it unplugged will help it to cool down. Thats exactly how I managed to cool down my iorn last time. if a router has to be used, then a use another one instead! well, how about a heat sink ?

    Overclocking his own router might be the first step. But im pretty sure that its not gonna be enough. He will be overclocking all other routers, switches, hubs servers, repeaters in the network. and sometimes he will get to overclock some material properties of certain cables and stuff too...
