    i heard there are kind of viruses that damage hard disks boot sector that make it useless. never happened to me.. and i also heard there are viruses that can mess up with bios.. and making ur mobo useless.. never heard of a virus that can blow ur comp unless in movies.. ex:- die hard 4...
