    yeah sure!!! but for thing like torrents .... we can use P-MMX/P1 or even 80486(if we found one)..P-MMX 166Mhz is just 13W and it's more than needed.. And not only the CPU need high power....what about other parts....M/B,RAM etc... i'm not telling that we should not use Core2 and go for old...

    1)Why can't we go for alternatives for Vista & Office 2k7 ? 2)Hafoi....I think it's better to use Autocad with XP....i don't think Vista is good for those kind of things...

    yeah.....and we shoul consider Speed : Power ratio [MHz/W] ; even it's low...if we need low CPU power ....i think we should go for old PC.. for ex:for overnight torrent downloading i think P1 is better....(i do like that...but these days my HDD is not working on it :( )

    A good P4 2.4 (478) m/b

    i have good one ASUS P4S533MX @ that time about 5.5-6yrs ago;.....it supported till 3066Mhz/PGA478 CPUs but now they are even not in production... u'll be able to buy used one for about 2.5k-3k as I think...
