    thanks. Sorry no, did not get time to go through it fully. :( Did u get a MicroTek scanmaker 3800 to work under linux? For the moment I borrowed a cannon lide 110 and works without any issue with Xsane. Interesting project, Planing to try out when some free time is available. :)
