අපේ ගෙදර වැඩෙට පොල්ල තිබ්බා, එවපු බාස් කිසිම දෙයක් කරන්න බැරි එකෙක් (ටයිල් ඇදයි, ජනෙල් ඇදයි, තව ලෙඩ ගොඩයි ) සල්ලි අරන් ගියාම තමා, භාරව හිටපු කෙනා අයින් උනාලූ, ඒයාටම කියලා වැඩේ කරගන්න ලු,කිසිම වගකීමක් නෑ, අද වෙනකන් මුන් වැඩේ මගරිනවා. ආය ඔක්කොම මුල ඉදන් කරන්න වෙලා, හොද වැඩේ අපිට, මේ වගේ තැනක් විශ්වාස කරාට. ඔයගොල්ලොත් පරිස්සම් වෙන්න මේ වගේ වංචාවලින්.

හැමදාම කියද්දිත් ලංකාවෙ හොර ගුහාවල් වලට අහුවෙන තොපිට හොඳම වැඩේ. කන්ස්ට්‍රක්ෂන් කම්පැණි කියල ලංකාවෙ තියෙන්නෙ පට්ට හොර ගුහාවල්. උබට ඔය උඩින් පේන ටික උනාට බිත්ති ව්ලට, කපරාරු වලට, ෆවුන්ඩේෂන් එකට යට උබට පේන්නෙ නැති නිසා හොඳයි. නැත්තන් උබ ඔය ගෙදරම තමයි එල්ලෙන්නෙ.

There are construction companies, who tells the real cost and do their job correctly. But however people tends go behind the contractor, who quote the lowest price and later blaming for the entire contractor society like this.
If you don't have time, working with Bass people to build a house is not an option. It's easier to work with a contractor to complete the project.
However when selecting a contractor,

1. Please make their value of the quote as the least priority. (This is the common mistake all do. Good labour and materials won't come cheap in Sri Lanka. If you go in this path, don't blame the contractor later. Its your own fault and blame for yourself while looking at a mirror.)
2. Don't believe in facebook marketing.
3. Look for personal recommendations of your friends, relations,
4. Personally go and research on their completed jobs and select the good contractor works for you.
5. Then proceed with negotiating on the pricing.

I totally agree with your statement.

In our case, we provided them materials including cement (there was an extreme shortage at that time) only thing what they had to do is, just follow the plan and instructions.

We have no time to monitor the process because we live far away from the property, that’s why we decided to handover this task to a construction company, also we contacted a few other companies but they postponed our project.

Since we had no other option, we gave the project to above firm and suffering now.
