කැබිනට් ඇමැතිවරුන් සහ රාජ්‍ය ඇමැතිවරුන් කීප දෙනකු සිය ඇමැති ධුර වලින් ඉවත් වුවද නිල වාහන ඇතුළු භාණ්ඩ අමාත්‍යාංශවලට ඊයේ (05) දිනය වන විටත් භාරදී නොතිබූ බව වාර්තා වේ. ඇමැති පෞද්ගලික කාර්ය මණ්ඩල සාමාජිකයන් ද සිය භාණ්ඩ අමාත්‍යාංශවලට නිල වශයෙන් භාරදී නොතිබූ අතර පෞද්ගලික කාර්ය මණ්ඩල සාමාජිකයෝ රැසක් අමාත්‍යාංශවල සේවයට ඊයේ (05) දිනයේ වාර්තා නොකළහ. ඉදිරි දින කීපය ඇතුළත දී රජය ගන්නා තීරණ වලින් පසු වාහන සහ භාණ්ඩ භාරදීම සම්බන්ධව තීරණයක් ගන්නා බව අමාත්‍යාංශ කීපයකම ඇමැති පෞද්ගලික කාර්ය මණ්ඩල සාමාජිකයෝ කියා සිටියහ. කැබිනට් ඇමැතිවරුන් සිය ධුර වලින් ඉවත් වීම නිසා අමාත්‍යාංශ සහ ඒ යටතේ පවතින ආයතන රැසක කටයුතු අඩාළවී ඇති බව ද පැවසේ. කැබිනට් ඇමැති ධුර දැරූ 25 දෙනකු සිය ඇමැති ධුරවලින් ඉවත් වූ අතර රාජ්‍ය ඇමැති ධුර දැරූ පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රීවරු 38 දෙනා අතරින් දයාසිරි ජයසේකර, සුදර්ශනී ප්‍රනාන්දු පුල්ලේ, පියංකර ජයරත්න, ලසන්ත අලගියවන්න සහ දුමින්ද දිසානායක සිය අස්වීම් ලිපි ජනාධිපතිවරයාට භාරදෙන ලදී. මූලාශ්‍රය - අරුණ


Several ministers and state ministers who had tendered their resignation and left had not returned their official vehicles and other items until yesterday (05) it is reported.
Many of the Ministers’ personal staff members had not officially handed over their official goods to the Ministries and many private staff members did not report for duty at the Ministries yesterday (05).
Many of the private staff members of these ministers said that they would take a decision regarding the returning of vehicles and other official goods once the government takes a decision within the next few days.
Due to the resignation of Cabinet ministers many of the functions of the ministries and their affiliated institutions have stalled.
Twenty-five former cabinet ministers have resigned, while Dayasiri Jayasekara, Sudarshani Fernandopulle, Piyankara Jayaratne, Lasantha Alagiyawanna and Duminda Dissanayake are among the 38 State Ministers who had submitted their resignation letters to the President.
