අළුත් වාහන බදු සම්බන්ධව ....

මම අළුතින් වාහනයක් මීට සති 2, 3 කට කලින් ඕඩර් කලා. ඒක හෙට ලංකාවට එනවා. මම ඕඩර් කරන කොට වාහන ආයනය කරන බදු ගොඩක් අඩුවෙන් තිබුනේ. දැන් ආයෙත් ඒවා වැඩි කරලා. මට දැනගන්න ඕනා මම කලින් ඇනවුම් කල ගානටම මෙහෙන් බදු සහන ලබා ගන්න පුළුවන්ද කියලා.... නැත්තන් මට ලක්ෂ 2 ක් වැඩි වෙනවා.

no, u have a chance to import vehicle on previous duty, only if you open LC before 24th april midnight.

but you have to appeal to DC(imports) of customs with related matter, in written documents. under customs ordinance 235

Macho pahala link eke excel 1k ethi tax calculate karana hati. 1st column is chassy number. By that you can identified the vehicle type. Tax is reduced according to the registration year. but in present regulation conditions you can only import vehicle(cars & jeep) not more than old 2 years. for double cabs and vans the limit is 5 years.

Tax is calculated based on whatever the largest of "local agent valuation value" or "amount you spent to import the vehicle".
I import a Vitz through www.japanesevehicles.com for 2083000Rs(10300us$ for vehicle + 883000 local tax) before the last tax hike. My friends also brought vehicles through www.jpcenter.ru

generally insurance cost is around 110us$, Shipping 65000Rs & 250us$ for jaai certificate
