GR did what he promised to people and what he was voted by 6.9 million, and now there is a Struggle at Galle face.
Even now there is no management of Economy.
We have no option but to gear for Export Led Economy and also to attract Toruists and remittances. What have we done so far in any of the areas ? Nothing.
CB gov is against any incentive to remittances, but without incentives it will be difficult to attract people who abandoned Banking system.
Similarly what have we done so far to attract Tourists ? nothing but had done everything to keep them away eg power cuts, fuel shortage, FC issues to make this worse an idiot (worse than prasanna) is appointed. Wither Tourism in SL?
As regard to exports we have not done anything so far at least to keep factories in SL when they are leaving to Maldives and Bangladesh.
PM is talking about salary hike to Govt servants? What a joke.
we are a nation that will never learn a lesson.
Yesterday it was revealed that IMF had warned SL as far back in 2020 that our debt sustainability was unviable. What did CB gov then Mr. Cabral and Dy Gov Dr..Nandalal did ? Allowed the country to bankrupt, and tell tales ? Monetary Board was also sleeping? They are all responsible not only GR MR and idiotic cabinet which included fake experts such as Wimal, Gampila etc.
