    Slut shaming, I see?
    I love Adele though. :)
hardly that. Actually its about the using of sexuality to promote music. Even by those who can sing. Adele reminded everyone that its not a necessity for music or to gain popularity even in this age where the visual medium is the "main stream".

    ඔක්කොම සම්මාන ටික මේකිට :/

    PS: - පෞද්ගලිකවම මම ආස Rolling in the Deep සහ Set Fire විතරයි. Rolling in the Deep එකේ විඩ් එක දැක්ක ගමන් දැනගත්තා මේකි ලොකු ගේමක් දෙන බව

I know 'sex sells'. And Adele shows that you don't need to sell sex in order to be famous. But there's nothing wrong with women (or men) being sexually independent and being comfortable with wearing whatever they like. So by saying "ඇඟ පෙන්නලා සිංදු විකුනණ අය" you kind of degrading the artists who do so, thus one can interpret that as slut shaming.

The "artists" that does that have shamed themselves cause they are basically using the visual appeal of either their own bodies or those used in the video to make money. Usually done by those who lack musical skills. If I'm trying to degrade anyone, its that type of "artist".

Using appealing visuals is hardly shaming themselves though. Here are some ARTISTS who have talent and wear whatever they want. Notice all these are live performances.

compare all that with this and the minute long standing ovation that follows it from both peers and fans.

As I said before, I love her and think she's truly talented. But just because her rivals wear cloths that revealing more skin doesn't make Adele superior either. What I am saying is everyone is unique in their own way and there's nothing wrong with wearing whatever they like. As the saying goes, 'You can't judge a book by it's cover".
