Yes 100%. MR called presidential election one year earlier in 2015 as there were lot of loan repayments in 2015. These were bad investments in Mattala, Lotus tower , Harbour etc. The payments were due and no return ! We got more return in projects which were assessed properly, not done for politial milage.

1977-1994 Was the golden era of all the projects that still keeps the country moving forward. All the electricity projects, Free economic zones and private factories so many people are now employed and have their means sorted out.

Whereas Mahinda's projects are not giving anything back to the economy. Most the projects ( which are total blunders ) are also done with Chinese & north korean man power. Economic drain at it's finest
