Hmm, but Germany did after 1st and 2nd ww ,then why we couldn't?

Germany was never in debt for any countries at that time. They were under control for different reasons, but our situation is different. We are in debt from many nations. If we want to have an independent state then we should pay back the loans, Do you think we have that much money ? So until then we can't be independent. Economic warfare is very dangerous than a real war fought with guns and bombs. Don't compare Germany situation with us. they both are different scenarios.

Only thing we can do in the future is limiting the loans taken from these countries and slowly do things by our-self, but our leaders dont have a vision.

I am not saying we can do that in the next 2-To 3 years but certainly the next 15 years. (if we do it in the right way)

Even if it take next 15 years its not possible. Our presidents change every 5 years and also the plans of the government change every 5 years. We don't have a long-term plan, corruption very high so its very difficult to do a U turn like Germany.

So until then external forces will control Sri Lanka.
