in Othello's case it was just a personality disorder or something. practically speaking that type of metal disabilities only affect your family, friends or in some cases only yourself. but when these metal disorders grow further in a person own self it get more violent and at the end it affects the whole society if not whole world. for example many of those persons had been abused by their very parents in their childhood. for example Craig Winn has done a great work of researches in this field comparing Muhamma's Quran with Hitler's Mein Kampf. and the result is astonishing. i believe both Hitler and Muhammad shares many stuffs in common. you can add Stalin also if you like to this mentally mutated group. (stalin's period accounts for more than 20 million deaths)
