Gagan ambassador to Afghanistan..!
අනේ දෙයියනේ.., අනාගත ඇෆ්ගනිස්ථාන ශ්රී ලංකා තානාපතිගේ දියණියගේ තණපටය සවිමත් එකක්ම වේවා..! සිරිසේන ජනාධිපතිගේ ‘මඩු වලිගය‘ පොළොන්නරුවේම ගල්වේවා..!! -ගගන් ඇෆ්ගන් තානාපති ලෙස පත් කරයි -
President Maithripala Sirisena has nominated retired Air force Commander Gagan Bulathsinghala supposedly residing at 97, Wijerama mawatha , Udahaamulla , Nugegoda as the Sri Lanka ‘s ambassador to Afghanistan . As of late , since these appointments have to be presented to the Parliament select committee pertaining to high profile posts ,it has therefore been submitted for its approval.
Under the 19 th amendment, even now appointments to foreign diplomatic missions are made by the president. However those appointments must be approved by the parliament select committee as regards high profile appointments. Since the consensual government does not desire to enter into conflicts with the president , the latter’s appointment is passed without a debate.
නුගේගොඩ, උඩහමුල්ලේ විජේරාම පාරේ අංක 97 හි පදිංචි යැයි කියන විශ්රාමික ගුවන් හමුදාපති ගගන් පී බුලත්සිංහල මහතා ඇෆ්ගනිස්ථානයේ තානාපතිවරයා ලෙස සිරි ලංකාවේ ජනාධිපති මෛත්රීපාල සිරිසේන මහතා විසින් නම් කර තිබේ. දැන් එම පත් කිරීම සහතික කිරීම සඳහා පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ උසස් නිලතල පිලිබඳ කාරක සභාව වෙත යොමු කර ඇත.
19 වෙනි සංශෝධනය අනුව තවමත් තානාපතිසේවයට පත් කිරීම් කරනු ලබන්නේ ජනාධිපතිවරයා විසින් වන නමුත් එම පත් කිරීම් පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ උසස් නිලතල පිලිබඳ කාරක සභාව විසින් අනුමත කළ යුතුය. සම්මුති ආණ්ඩුව ජනාධිපතිවරයා සමග ගැටුමක් හදා නොගන්නා බැවින් ජනාධිපතිවරයාගේ පත් කිරීම් විවාදයකින් තොරව අනුමත කෙරේ.
Nevertheless ,when president Maithripala was fielding as the common presidential candidate , he swore over ten times that these shall not be political appointments . (Clause 95 of the president’s manifesto ‘ a new country within 100 days,’ said :a respectable foreign service without politicization will be re established). This was because during the Mahinda Rajapakse lawless, rudderless and ruthless era , unqualified and unsuitable morons , henchmen, cronies, relatives , lickspittles, lackeys , nincompoops and nitwits were appointed to the State Diplomatic service , whereby Sri Lanka became a laughing stock before the world.
මෛත්රීපාල සිරිසේන මහතා පොදු අපේක්ෂකයා ලෙස ඉදිරිපත් වෙද්දී මෙවැනි දේශපාලන පත්කිරීම් තානාපති සේවයට කරන්නේ නැතැයි දස අතේ දිව්රා පොරොන්දු විය.
