Create a shortcut to open the database, so that you can specify the .mdw file location on the command line, in the shortcut target.

Example:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\MSACCESS.EXE" "C:\MS_Access\QRS_V3\Development\QRS V3 Data.mdb" /wrkgrp "C:\MS_Access\qrs_app.mdw" /user appdev

Replace the red with the path and name of your .MDW file. /user=appdev intializes the loging dialog with that user name, but there is no requirement to do that.

Using Windows XP and A2003, I have found that I have to specify the full path to MSACCESS.EXE and put it in quotes; the same for the database name.
