ලෝකයේම දැන් ආර්ථික අර්බුදයක් තියෙනවා. ලංකාවට ඒක දැනෙනේ නැත්තේ මෙහෙට එන මුදල් ආයෝජන හින්දයි. නමුත් සමහර ක්ශේත්‍ර වල පසුබෑමක් තියෙනවා ලංකාවෙත්. ඉස්සර නම් බිහිවුනේ රැකියා විරහිත කලා උපාධිධාරීන්. දැන් නම් හැම ක්ශේත්‍රයකින්ම උපාධිකාරයොන්ට රැකියා නෑ.
බඩට කන්න හොයාගන්න නම් ඉතින් උපාධි සහතිකේ රෝල් කරලා පු* ගහගෙන ප්‍රායෝගික විදිහට හිතලා වෙන මාර්ගයක්වත් හොයාගන්න වෙනවා. අපිටයි ඊලඟට එන පරපුරටයි

Just look at how things are going,everyone is doing a degree now, from ten years from now on they all will have MBA's or PHDs..all are looking for Managerial or directors positions after that...But comparing to graduates how many positions are really available?from my institute 1000 people are graduating this year,next year will be more+all the institutes in sri lanka .It's not like in 80's where only very few people had degrees and all they all get ceo or something,the way it goes now you will need at least 3 phd's just to get into a job.This qualification thing won't last that long.nothing but a paper

so we can get a graduation from institutes these days ? i thought we should go to a college to get a graduation.

in SL there are 4 types of places from which we can get a degree.

1) government universities - if you have gone through A/L with highest marks, you'll surely get a chance. But only 4% can go.

2) government joint venture institutes - SLIIT,NIBM etc. (now even Sri Lanka vocational training institute is offering degrees )

3) institute which give foreign degrees right here in SL or you need to go final 2 years abroad. e.g: APIIT, ANC, ACBT etc ...

now there are hundreds of institutes in SL. The real problem is supply is exceeding the demand. to address this problem either we need to create jobs (at present, this is not possible) or we should regulate and limit the offering of degrees (we can't do this as well). This is a deadlock .
