The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has commenced a separate investigation into the distorted singing of the National Anthem at the LPL opening, Public Security Minister Tiran Alles said.
According to the minister, the CID has received several complaints regarding the incident. As such, the officers are looking into possibilities as to how action can be taken on the matter according to the law.
In addition to the CID investigation, the Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government has also commenced a probe into the incident.
