DONT mess with your education.
Even if the couples in your age get through A/Ls, if they are selected to different universities, there is a very high possibility for you two to break up and find new partners from the uni.
Very few couples(about 1%) in your age, last long enough to get married. But those relationships will teach you many things.
If you want ask her out now. If she says 'no', forget her. Anyway make sure your education-flow is uninterrupted.
Erase this idea completely. Getting A9 for A/Ls is nothing.
