The scary fact is that it's not going to go away soon. China had it over 5 months and it's making a comeback. Though Singapore reported a beneficial mutation in only 8 patients, the Italians say that the current virus is only just 5 minor variations from the reference virus provided by the Chinese scientists.

One thing positive is that if someone finds a vaccine, it will be fairly stable and long term, as the virus does not change - unlike the flu viruses.
But nothing in sight yet - no one made a real breakthrough yet.
