Next year planning to visit what we had missed out on as yet, The Central Asias - Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. This takes a bit of time and some advance planning. Also has to be done in early spring or autumn. Otherwise extreme heat and cold winters.
We usually drive and a lot of border permits etc to be sorted out beforehand. Also a couple of flights involved. These countries are not geared up for tourism as such and lacks infrastructure too. So a lot of homework. We are just thinking about it still.
Finally also drop by in Mongolia.
