Elilini Hoole, the daughter of Ratnajeewan Hoole of the Independent Electoral Commission too has been there in the repatriation flight from the UK. They were directed straight away to the Jetwing Blue quarantine centre.
She has posted on her Instagram account how uncomfortable and crammed the flight was and has complained about WIFI facilities at the quarantine centre as well.
She should understand that the government along with Sri Lankan Airlines is fulfilling a humanitarian mission beyond just a job. The crew is doing an amazing job by risking their life & crew is home quarantined after these flights. The Sri Lankan staff works selflessly taking the risk of the disease and separating from their loved ones as well.
But cannot expect a better behaviour from people who fled to UK during the war season with genetically inherited qualities of condemning local facilities and country itself.
We'd like to ask from her if Sri Lanka and our national carrier is this bad why did you even come back to Sri Lanka ? Is it even worthwhile to be unappreciative when they took you back safely during a critical time like this?
