ජනාධිපතිවරණයක් පැවැත්වීම සඳහා මැතිවරණ කොමිසම විසින් නිකුත් කර තිබෙන ගැසට් නිවේදනය බලරහිත කරන මෙන් ඉල්ලා ශ්‍රේෂ්ඨාධිකරණයට පෙත්සමක් ඉදිරිපත් වී ඇත.

ගාල්ල හිටපු නගරාධිපති මෙත්සිරි ද සිල්වා මහතා විසින් පෙත්සම ඉදිරිපත් කර තිබේ.

එහි වගඋත්තරකරුවන් ලෙස මැතිවරණ කොමිසමේ සභාපති මහින්ද දේශප්‍රිය මහතා එම කොමිසමේ සාමාජිකයන් සහ නීතිපතිවරයා නම් කර ඇති බව වාර්තා වේ.

පෙත්සම්කරු කියාසිටින්නේ වත්මන් ජනාධිපති මෛත්‍රීපාල සිරිසේන මහතා ඉකුත් 2015 වසරේ ජනවාරි මස 8 වන දා පැවති ජනාධිපතිවරණයේදී ජනාධිපතිවරයා වශයෙන් තේරී පත් වූයේ වසර හයක ධුර කාලයක් සඳහා බවයි.

එසේ තිබියදී ජනාධිපතිවරයාගේ ධුර කාලයෙන් වසර 5ක් ගෙවුණු විගස ජනාධිපතිවරණයක් කැඳවීමට මැතිවරණ කොමිසම විසින් ගැසට් නිවේදනයක් නිකුත් කර ඇති අතර ඒ අනුව නාම යෝජනා පත්‍ර භාර ගැනීම ලබන 7 වනදා සිදුකිරීමට නියමිත බව ඔහු පවසයි.

මැතිවරණ කොමිසමේ මෙම තීරණය ආණ්ඩුක්‍රම ව්‍යවස්ථාවට පටහැනි බව පෙන්වා දෙන පෙත්සම්කරු ඒ අනුව ජනාධිපතිවරණයක් පැවැත්වීම සඳහා මැතිවරණ කොමිසම විසින් නිකුත් කර තිබෙන ගැසට් නිවේදනය බලරහිත කිරීමේ නියෝගයක් නිකුත් කරන මෙන් ද ඉල්ලා තිබේ.

ඊට අමතරව ජනාධිපතිවරණය සඳහා ලබන 07 වනදා නාමයෝජනා පත්‍ර භාර ගැනීම වැළැක්වීමේ අතුරු නියෝගයක් නිකුත් කරන මෙන් ද පෙත්සම්කරු ශ්‍රේෂ්ඨාධිකරණයෙන් අයැද ඇත.

no i dont think so my3 want to remove gota form this he want chamal to be the presidential candidate with gota backing him chamal can take more vote than gota he will get both sympathy vote and wikalpa vote if chamal is the candidate wikalpe cant market there candidate like they do know gota will say he will be the defence secretary so it will be a ez win for pohotuwa.
