1996 ක්‍රිකට් වර්ල්ඩ් කප් එක ගැහැව්වා
සුසන්තිකා 2000 ඔලිම්පික් මෙඩල් එක ගැහැව්වා.
තව ක්‍රිකට් වල අපි ඒෂියන් කප් එක ගත්තා.
ඔය සුගත් තිලකරත්න වගෙ කට්ටිය ෆොම් උනෙත් ඔය යුගයෙ තමා .

මන් කියන්නෙ නැහැ චන්ද්‍රිකා නිසා ඒ ගොල්ලො ඒ දේවල් ජයග්‍රහණය කරෙ කියලා .
නමුත් ඒ යුගයෙ ක්‍රීඩාව වගෙම ගොඩක් පැති වලින් දියුණුවක් කොලිටි එකක් තිබ්බා අදට සාපෙක්ෂව .
එදා සහ අද ගත්තොත් අද යුද්ධෙ නැහැ එදා වගෙ.
සහ බිල්ඩින් ටිකකුයි පාරවල් ටිකකුයි හැදිලා තියෙනවා .
ඒ පැත්තෙන් අද හොඳයි .

ඒත් ජනමාධ්‍ය ,කලාව ක්‍රීඩාව වලපල්ලටම ගිහින් .
එදා අදට වඩා හොඳට තිබ්බා .
