Yeah thts politikkas talking my friend....proven fact is that government infact health ministry is spending 20 core a month to keep up and running NFH...wt im saying is people dont need this high luxary un purposly built hospital this money can be spent to a rural hospital or import some important medicinces you really think that innocent villagers(people who really depends on government hospitals)will come all the way to malabe to have shy at a luxary hospital...haha lol..governmt(rajitha) only did this to support nevil infact to do justice to wtever the bribe they got frm old fellow......

20 crore for a month for a year equal to 12*20 = 240 crore a year. it's just a money of 10-15 super luxury vehicles that had been imported by ministers very recently. By this money at least it served by the poor people who deserves that. Otherwise it would only served to the wealthy people and it will couse to corrupt the whole higher education as well as entire free education. It's much much better to function as a gvt funded or as a semi-gvt institution rather than a private medical faculty.

In short term, expending the money on NFTH by gvt tax income seems bit unreasonable or some one can see it as a huge waste.
But in long term it will certainly benefit the poor people. for the Colombo district, it seems we have enough number of hospitals, But still our health resources are struggling to meet the demand of society.
We have a very shortage of doctors and nurses. That requirement might be fulfill, at least partially by using NFTH as a gvt mendical faculty, by producing quality doctors.
