As far as i know most people use the word vaccum for air brakes. Correct term is air brakes.
Up to my knowledge vaccum brakes are only used in some locomotives/trains.

as far as i know vacuum brakes are the ones we use in our lite vehicles (engine vacuum )
all heavy vehicles trains always have compressed air brakes
correct me if i am wrong

පල්ලම් වල විතරක් නෙමේ තැනිතලා වලත් ඔහොම වෙනවා. ඕකේ pressure gauge තියනවා level එක 4 වඩා අඩු උනොත් break වදින්නේ නෑ. අපේ transport බස් දෙකම ඔහොම වෙලා හැප්පුනා. එකක් ඇතුලේ මාත් හිටියා. Break නෑ කියන්නේ යතුරු off කරත් නවතින්නේ නෑ. වාහනේ ආයේ ආයේ start වේවි තල්ලු වේවි යනවා. මොකක හරි හොඳ එකක වදින්න ම ඕනේ නවතින්න. අපේ හුත්තල ඔවා බලන්නේ නෑ ඔහේ යනවා.
