ලංකාවේ කෙනෙක්ට බෙහෙත් ගන්න ඕන නම් ලෙඩා එක්ක GP ගාවට ගිහින් ලංකාවේ prescription එක පෙන්නලා මේවට top up එකක් ඕනේ කියල ගන්න ඕනේ. සමහර උන් ඒ දෙන්නෙත් නෑ අලුතින් test කරනකන්. හොඳම දේ ඔය වගේ දේවලට ලංකාවේ GP කෙනෙක් ව අඳුරගෙන තියාගන්න එක.

Then GP will give prescriptions for you.

If GP thinks you should see a specialist they will refer (Can select private or public)

Waiting list are for things like visiting a surgery or some specialists. This is why you need to get an insurance, to go private so no waiting lists.

Where I live it's bit similar. I was on a waiting list for a wisdom tooth extraction because I requested a specialist with very high reputation (Covered with Insurance)

Also if you don't tell your pre existing conditions like this and keep taking medicine with no health records, think something happen one day and need to go to the hospital ? What do you think will happen? Also what do you think will happen if you want to get a health insurance? Looks like your friends are digging deep into a hole that they will not come our easily.
