you are nowhere near the figures. They predicted the cost of the degree based on the assumptions that they would get a Government Hospital for no cost . But since they have to build a Private hospital for their clinicals . The actual cost is sky high
You are just assuming that it will go up....but as of now that's not the case
Dude Please speak with solid facts . You are LYING ! Only 16 countries so far achieved the 1:300 ratio . The WHO Recommended GP,Patient Ratio for developing countries is 1:1000 to 1:1500.
1:1850 was the 1998 statistics. Now it is around 1:1100 . And it will reach the optimum ratio in the next few years
So what if only 16 countries have achieved it?/ they are the countries with superior Health systems & the best health indices in the world...Just because you people don't want competition that doesn't mean we should be satisfied with developing world levels for eternity...the ultimate target is 300 to 1 & not your figures
Doctors already have their jobs ! Why should they feel threatened by PMC students who don't even have a minimun clinical exposure
Even you people start clinics in the 3rd year...what clinics do you do for Anatomy,Physiology, bio Chem,Pharma & Micro?? Nikan Bolanda kathaa kiyanna epaa
haha You must be a foreign graduate . Way to Go !
yeah I am...so what?? I've passed the same Common MCQ paper you people get & passed ERPM.....besides I'm licensed to treat more than 1.5 billion people in the world including Sri Lanka.....you people can only treat Sri Lankan 20 million
Explain how can student with minimum results in the A/L s with Minimum clinical Exposure + Minimum Knowledge+ Skills are competent enough to Challenge the GMC students

Ha ha compare the stats of India , Nepal with our National Statistics Of health !
Compare the size & population of India to SL...It's easier here to treat the population of 20 million than 1.3 billion...Maldives with a population of 300,000 & no med faculty of their own has better indices than any one in this region....that doesn't mean that their health system is world class....Monash is an Oz uni if you didn't know...nt Nepali.....
