You cannot compare UK with Sri Lanka or China or USA. Try to understand this. What they are trying to do is elimination of racial injustice further.
Their finance minister is Rishi Sunak, home affairs Priti Patel (she was tipped to lead conservative ), Sajed David(new Health minister) are all front runners and are of Indian dissent.
When there was widespread uncontrollable riots in UK , the Police did not use bullets like our Rathupaswala. They did not use even rubber bullets like US or China . Then PM David Cameron , sought parliamentary approval to use water cannons(which our police use everyday without even sanctioning from a DIG!!).
This was in 2011 not very long ago. Even when covid restrictions are at the toughest. People protested for Sera Everad's death on the street and few were arrested and it became a big issue as to asking Pirti Patel the Minister in charge to resign. We know how many unarmed including a child , were killed at Ratupaswala during MR's regime where GR was defense secretary and none resigned or even asked to resign. This is our type of human rights . This was normal time unarmed protest after the war. So there was clear case of excessive force.
I hope without being nationalistic we can understand what will happen to so called Geneva 'statement' presented by China. These are to draw attention away from your own faults, nothing but what our govt does at the moment . China sold Sinpharm at $15 whereas AZ was less than $4. China is maximizing their debt levels to SL for what? We are giving in to them ideologically.
