anyway SplitSecond is one of my most enjoyed racing games ever.
even played in split screen with others.
years ago.

but... recently when i looked to play it again, i learned that it is locked to 30fps.... :/
since im so used to 60fps and above now, it's hard to even imagine playing a racing game in 30fps..

there is a mod to set it to 60fps,
but...,
from what i heard, it breaks the AI... (like, they trigger traps at wrong time, they go off the road killing them selves etc etc so the game wont be enjoyable.. )

Is it being locked at 30fps that much of a deal though? I didn't even know what fps was back then but that didn't make the game dull or boring

ඔය වගේම ගේම් එකක් තිබුනා Blur කියලා. ඕක ගහනවා ඉස්සර කට්ටිය. ස්ප්ලිට් ස්ක්‍රීන් ප්ලෙයර්ස්ලා හතරදෙනෙකුට එකපාර එක පීසී එකක ප්ලේ කරන්න පුලුවන්. විවිධ පවර්ස් පික් කරලා අනිත් කාර් වලට ඇටෑක් කරන්න පුලුවන්. කට්ටිය හතරදෙනෙක් එකතුවෙලා ප්ලෙ කරනකොට පට්ටම ආතල් වැඩක් ඒක.

yes at the time i didn't know either.
we had crappy PCs at the time anyways so low fps was a normal thing for us.

it is a kind of a big deal now though..
30fps for a racing game?
60 must be the minimum..
i don't like when technical issues get in the way when playing such action packed games..

just like i need 120fps to play online multiplayer shooter games. 60 is not enough :/
