is it about death or just about losing love ..i got really lost in the first verse i read it a few times but still can't get it ..anyway the poem give me two meanings one about just dying and going away other about just losing somebody. personally id like to think that this is about the guy this woman wanted to marry, leaving her and marrying somebody else..stones can stand for pain ..before they just hurt her now they can't..hmm its really confusing lol
