I don't know how these checkpoints violates human rights. Ultimately they are for our safety. I'm willing to prove my identity or to be checked at any checkpoint because I'm neither a terrorist nor a person doing illegal things. Terrorists are the people who want to avoid this, so I'm wondering why our court people can't understand this tiny little thing. I don't know but sometimes it may be a big hole in Srilanka's law system letting the human rights NGOs play as they wish with it.
