but there is something, we need to understands different between Ragging and extreme/violent ragging.
ragging is something that has everywhere, it is common way to say "welcome" to the freshers.
not only in campus, but also this is happning on schools, Colleges and even in working environment too.

issue is with extreme/violent/sexual harasment
oriented ragging. this is what we need to exclude from campus.

so we need to address the correct point and problem.

this cannot control by using laws,this has to fixed from inside people. we need to create people with hearts and humanity.
which is missing missing in current target orienterd education pattern.

isn't it just way more easier to punish few guilty seniors ?as you claim ragging is fun and welcoming for freshers in the meantime lets say 1 kid dies out of a 10000000 of freshers. is it worth the fun? its just one life but is it worth it ? so as long as there is that probability whats the first thing we should do ? stop doing it or as you say change the system?
