යාපනය අරියාලෙයි ප්‍රදේශයේ පිහිටි ස්විස් දේවස්ථානයක පැවති ආගමික උත්සවයකට සහභාගිවූ ස්විස්ටර්ලන්තයේ සිට පැමිණි පුජකවරයෙක්ට නව කොරෝනා වෛරසය වැළදී ඇති බවට ස්විට්සර්ලන්තයෙන් වාර්තා වීමත් සමග එම පූජාවට සහභාගී වූ යාපනයේ බැතිමතුන් සොයා ආරක්ෂක අංශ විසින් විශේෂ සොදිසි මෙහෙයුමක් ආරම්භ කොට ඇති බවට උතුරු පලාත් ආණ්ඩුකාර කාර්යාලය පවසයි.

එමෙන්ම අදාල පූජක වරයා සමීපව ඇසුරුකල පිරිසෙන් පුද්ගලයින් දෙදෙනෙකුට ශරීරයේ ඇති වූ උණසහිත රෝග ලක්ෂණයක් හේතුවෙන් යාපනය ශික්ෂණ රෝහලට ඇතුලත් කොට ඇත.

මෙම පුජකවරයා එම ආගමික උත්සවය අවසන් කොට යළි ස්විට්සර්ලන්තය බලා පිටව ගොස් ඇති අතර පසුව ඔහුට කොරෝනා වෛරසය වැළදී ඇති බවට තහවුරුවී ඇති අතර මේ වන විට ඔහු අසාධ්‍ය තත්ත්වයෙන් පසුවන බවට වාර්තා වෙයි.



යම් අයුරකින් කොරෝනා රෝග ලක්ෂණ බවට සැකකෙරෙන යමක් ශරීරයෙන් පෙන්නුම් කරන්නේ නම් වහාම 021-2227278 යන අංකය ඔස්සේ පළාත් සෞඛ්‍ය කාර්යාලය දැනුවත් කොට රෝහල්ගත වීමට අවශ්‍ය කටයුතු සිදු කරන ලෙසටද උතුරු පලාත් ආණ්ඩුකාර කාර්යාලය වැඩි දුරටත් ජනතාවගෙන් ඉල්ලා ඇත.

he Health authorities of Jaffna have asked all those who participated in a service in the Philadelphia Church in Ariyalai on March 15 to self-quarantine as they believe the attendees may have been exposed to COVID19.
Northern Provincial Director of Health Services Dr A.Ketheeswaran said that around 200 to 250 people are believed to have attended the service.
Further Hon Governor confirmed the news that after the Pastor returned to his home in Switzerland his wife had told the parishioners to pray for him as he is unwell with the coronavirus.
Approximately 250 people have been attended the mass. The public is known to be from Navatkuli, Jaffna, Nallur and Manipay. Health departments are currently identifying their whereabouts and implementing individualization measures. Two persons who had been in close contact with the pastor have been admitted to Jaffna Teaching Hospital with symptoms of COVID-19. The health department said those
who attended the service to be self-quarantine as a precautionary measure.
But they said that there is no list of the people who attended the service and same time some of the devotees came from different provinces, even all over the country.
There are two families who came for the service have been found in Vavuniya. Further that the Jaffna Teaching Hospital has been requested to test all those who are registered and for their test results to be provided as soon as possible.
Officials said that the Pastor had appeared to be unwell when he conducted the service.
After the service the Pastor had “hugged and blessed all the people who were there,” is serious issue.
The Church is in Ariyalai in the Nallur Pradeshiya Sabha area and the celebration was held despite requests from the government to halt religious and other gatherings.
Officials in the North are concerned as most of the hospitals in the region are under-staffed and a major crisis could overwhelm the health services quickly.

He arrived BIA on 10.03.2020 at 9am. He got into vehicle (hired vehicle went from Jaffna) by 10am
On the way, at Anuradapura had fruit juice in Mango Mango hotel.
He was dropped at Ariyalai, Jaffna in a church. He stayed in church. Foods got supplied by his brothers relatives who live behind the church.
On 13.03.2020 he went to HNB Bank Jaffna and Signal junction market in KKS road Jaffna
15.03.2020 he left from Jaffna by 10.30pm and reached BIA by 5.30am
On the way back from BIA to JAFFNA , driver was stopped at Murukandy temple area for rest
