so showing gratitude means coming out of the wheelchair and bend on knees. the thing is not that person showing gratitude, MR or the administration allowing that to happen. that's the low level some people go to, to get some gratitude.

i don't know exactly what happened there other than this foto, so may be that person insisted that he needed to leave the wheelchair couple of feet away and get into the ground to pay gratitude.
