machan it is depend on the area.....for 3 bed room we need nearly 500 000 and if u can make a good deposit then easy to pay rest.


for renting 3 bed room depend on the suburb. Near melb,,I mean in Chadstone arround 1000 - 1700 (Old home)

Thanks for the information. But that amount is relatively high compared to Canada (but not Vancouver, which is unimaginably expensive)

i have a question, i have seen some of the job titles offerd by canada and they have specifically metioned that they only want computer programmers and computer engineers not software engineers.
do u guys have any idea regarding this???

well in here, cultural activities are very very high. multi-cultural is highly encouraged. There are many festivals from different people from different parks of the world

There are two types of jobs. Regulated and non-regulated. A regulated job (profession) means you need to get a registration from a organization (e.g. IESL in SL) in order to do the job. You have to show your original transcripts, work experience etc to register for that (sometimes they asked to complete few courses in order to get equivalent qualification of that country). Sometime this process is easy, sometimes very difficult (e.g. for doctors). Once registration is done, finding a job is relatively easy.

Secondly find whether the you can work legally (work permit). Some countries do not allow partner to work.
Once you know where U are going, everything can be found on the internet. In fact, sometimes it is easy to start the registration process while in sri lanka.

I do not know. Do you plan to earn some money and come back to SL or stay there long term. How easy to get permanent residency in those countries?
