This is a very good thread. I think before thinking of dogs , think about the humans first. There are thousands who are sick and old in hospitals as well as in household. They will certainly not like this enormous sound. First they are deafening and there is no standard and this makes it worse. Due to sheer competition like any other business one makes more sound than the other. It is a dangerous thing to lit them on roads and it will not be far that a tragic would happen if they explode near petrol tank of a vehicle. It will certainly be a criminal charge for murder, too.
I do not think there is any fun in making loud noise. Fireworks on sky are not very loud and can be fun to watch, but loud noise fire crackers will make more damage to sound pollution , air pollution due to burning of the chemicals inside, and also due to lack of standard they are dangerous to the person who lit as well as to others nearby including animals and palant. So, refrain from using crackers and use that money for something good
