අනුරාධපුර ජයන්ති මාවතේ කදිරේෂන් කෝවිල ඉදිරිපිටදී අද ( 21 දා) දහවල් සිදු වූ රිය අනතුරකින් මවක් සහ දියණියක් මියගිය බව අනුරාධපුර මූලස්ථාන පොලීසිය පවසයි.

මෙලෙස අවාසනාවන්ත ලෙස ජීවිතක්ෂයට පත්ව ඇත්තේ, සමගි මාවත, යාය 14 කොලනිය, කළා ඔය පදිංචි ඩබ්ලිව් පී. සශිකා දුලානි වීරසිංහ 36, සහ කේ. තිසනි ප්‍රියංසා නැමැති 8 හැවිරිදි ඇගේ දියණිය බව පොලිසිය කියයි.

එම මාර්ගයේ කඩ 30 දෙස සිට ජයන්ති වට රවුම දෙසට ගමන් කල යතුරු පැදියක්, එම දිශාවටම ගමන් කළ ටිපර් රථයක ගැටී මෙම අනතුර සිදුව ඇති බව පොලීසිය කියයි.

මේ සම්බන්ධව මැදවච්චිය, කැලෑගම ප්‍රදේශයේ පදිංචි 37 හැවිරිදි ටිපර් රථ රියදුරා අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන ඇත.

It is really sad to see how an ignorant driver can ruin lives. As per news both vehicles were in the same direction, which means this accident was a rear-end collision, in which usually bikers have imminent death. I've seen that buses and trucks used to tailgating bikes very closely, which is an extremely dangerous thing to do since a little distraction or obstacle can topple a bike. This is a completely irresponsible driving of the tipper driver; he needs to be punished. If you are a biker, I always recommend you to always gives the way to big vehicles, bever let these vehicles to tailgating yours.
