every person is exception to other. Unique qualities are not equal. You have to earn your way. Its not in University or in Academic certificate.

My point is, majority of Sri Lankans are struggling to match their expenses to what they earn, and current PM accused previous government of corruption and promised masses they would decrease living expenses when they come to power; but he still hasn't been able to fulfill what he promised - instead they have increased every possible tax and while they're milking our citizen dry, members of the parliament are wasting tax money on new luxurious vehicles, houses, basically every possible way they could think of. Country lost billions of rupees due to corrupt bond deals of central bank under new GCB, not once but twice. All this within 2 years. This is why people are bashing PM and the government. Living standards were better when Mahinda was in office. (Ex: Average family could afford an Alto which cost 1.48mil in his era - now it costs 2 million.)

tl;dr : Government is responsible for increasing living expeses to unbearable levels.

Not every citizen in Sri Lanka inherits a family business nor have the means to start one themselves. Doesn't mean they don't deserve simple necessities such as internet/communication.

It doesn't matter where you live machan, you have to have earn what you need. Even in US soil people are struggling. That doesn't mean Vegas is shit and empty. People earn and spend. If I can spend hundred thousand a month for my lunch, it doesn't mean I have to cut it down because so much in hunger around me. I contribute to society as much as I spend. But my life style is nothing to do anything with those who haven"t.

My family is not from Rich ancestry. They also worked as government servants and they built this from ground with nothing. So why can't others. I didn't inherit anything from my father. He simply show me the path, I walked on it and made my fortune. Why should I sacrifice my lifestyle. I earn every cent from my own and i live in it.

I beleve you were far off the target here.

    posters points were.
1.they have promised a better living for poor (by ending corruption of Mr etc.), but what's happening is the opposit.

    etc.

and imo I'm an open economy like this everyone can't be rich, BUT a govenment should be able to provide acceptable living standards to every one.

Again the point flew right over your head.

You inherited "the path" from your father. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have the path they have to walk in future cleared by their parents. They have to find their own path. Savvy?

And again, NOBODY WANTS TO SACRIFICE YOUR LIFESTYLE over the tax hike! Nobody cares if you made a fortune because you're not the one paying their expenses!

    Seriously what's wrong with you?

Yes, my father made it from ground. Those who crying about tax should ask from their parents about it. It has nothing to do with me. I might be luck but that doesn't mean others are unlucky. They can build like my father did. So someday their kids could inherit the benefits.

My point is way simple. If I want to buy a car I'm not gonna wait until my favorite politician get in to the house and reduce duties and taxes from his promising power. I simply earn what I need. My goal has nothing to do with political propaganda. Think if car prices are hike, wouldn't my earning rise simultaneously. So what the big deal.

Well you are not qualified to lecture others how to start a business from ground up and make it a success, your father does. You obviously have no idea what it takes to achieve such a feat - please don't trivialize your parents' efforts publicly in this manner.

machan, in this system every one cannot be rich. ask your father about it. for your father to be running a profitable business there has to be poor(relatively) people working under him.

what I am implying is those people should also be able to live a life of certain standard. we hoped that standard to rise with the new govt. but it deteriorated.

if you still dont get the point.. well can't help.

Compare yourself. That's my theory. I don't own a private Jet. But that doesn't mean I'm poor with those who have jets to themselves. I don't go to a jet because simply I couldn't afford. That theory same should apply to those who try to buy a Maruti with a 30000 monthly income and whining about tax.

Sorry I can't help you if you can't understand simple logic.
I advise you to invest on a good English teacher as well.
