This is a special case, bro. Jeppos asked for those funds in exchange for no strikes on an agreeable period. So most companies pay those ransoms to perform their business activities. If those companies did not pay the price, no one can guarantee what would happen to them. Possibly billions can be lost due to ever-stretching strikes, maybe?
