Honestly I also had the same problem about 3 years ago. Though able to save some money it will spend for unavoidable reason. I got the permit and I sold it. Got about 17.5 . Then I took boc loan for 5 years. I bought Japanese Alto then. Now paying loan about 32000 per month.
Not a big achievement but happy with the decision. My parents are using the vehicle. I go to work by bus.
