But you kind of have to have an auditor general with lots and lots of experience in government sector and a knack for catching tricky bad practices practiced by government officials. You cannot appoint a guy just willy nilly just because the person is working in the field. Doesn't the Auditor General have to participate in CoPE and CoPF meetings and assist the chair with his subject expertise and experience as well. For that, the person has to know the history and procedures as well. If this guy comes and start learning while serving like most of NPP ministers do, we are not finding anything in the coming four years. Losing Wickramaratne was a huge loss imho. I don't know man. More often NPP people are not right in their head just like Gota.
