FYI - Here's a copy of an old post I made on another thread.....
"All hand sanitizers should use either Ethanol or Isopropyl alcohol. Methanol should never be used. It's not approved to be used but I have heard that some manufacturers use it.
Methanol or wood alcohol can be poisonous when it gets absorbed through the skin.
Both Ethanol and Isopropyl alcohols are fine, but note that the concentration matters.
Earlier it was thought that Ethanol was the better performer but there were recent proper studies done and it's been shown that Isopropyl alcohol does in fact has better virucidal properties against enveloped viruses like Zika, Ebola, MERS, SARS, Covid19 etc.
Hospital Grade products do have 80% Ethyl alcohol or 75% Isosopropyl alcohol.
CDC tests show that you can use from 60% to 95% concentrations, so if you use 70% it should be more than adequate. In fact, most virologists agree and suggest 70%. "
