    mage gawa 30amp wire kali wagayak ithuru thibba.... eka thama hay kale. wena wire thibbe na man gawa 1500W inverter ekakta. e nisa wenna athi rath nowune. ;););)

    battery eka 45 amp.

    Machan, thanks for posting.

    I have a question, what kind of battery/inverter do I need to power up 150~200 watt system (laptop + monitor + router) for at least 12 hours?

    Unlike these days, we usually have 8-5 power cuts time to time and i really wanna leave my laptop/router running all the time. I do have 650va ups atm, however it does not hold the system for no more than 20 minutes. (been using it for 1.5-2yes 24x7 though)

    I am not exactly a DIY person and the closest thing I've found that may work with my requirement is this thing.

    Will it be sufficient to power a sub 200 watt system for 12h? How does that thing charge? I did some research on that inverter model they used and it turns out it operates similar to UPS (automatically comes on when ac power fails) I am wondering this charges via ac wall out or has any solar panels involved. If anyone here as an idea, please reply.

    I'm also not an Electrical engineer as i already posted it on top of thread.
    this is my knowledge from O/L days and practice knowledge i gathered.
    inverters has two output ratios or level one is normal output level and other is maximum output level. if you read spec of most inverters, max output is the amount they print on it and continuous power is lessor value than that. anyway for your requirement i see 500W is enough. But Modified sine wave is not smooth as sine wave. so it is not good for sophisticated electronics.
    there are inverters with charging facility. but i don't have experience on it to say its good or bad. but if you need inverter and batteries to couple with solar panels in future, batteries and inverter i mentioned will not sufficient.
