Thirimanne didn't score in Afghan match.or in Aus match.what if he fal in Scot match?then I would go with Tharanga in QF.Prasanna is good but I would look at a 150 bowler more than anything else.

Yeah against scot thats fine but against Sa Specially when styn and morkel and when even abbot is bowling opening the innings with tharanga is not an option for me.if you even in a dream thinking about opening with tharanga you should do it in next game.suddenly in the WC qf against morkel who bowl best to lefties specially crossing the left hander putting best fisherman to open? It totally beyond me .in Australia thrimanne is the tested and trusted till now .

At anyday i will play the leggy against sa over a pacer . I dont like giving best dish for you thats pace

Well I would say these pitches aren't awinging much as you would expect.I think if that is the case even Thirimanne can edge the ball to the slips like he did against Bangros and I think Herath and Dilshan is more than enough as spinners against SA.but don't think Seeku will do much against them

It is very unrealistic that Chandimal will play the next game, So this is the best team that I can think of. May be we can swap Seekkuge with Kulasekara.

If Tharana is in the team, he should open the innings. Thirimanna is not an opener and he was very lucky to score some runs against BAN and ENG due to drop catches. Against BAN, Thirimanna was dropped at 0 and against ENG he was dropped at 3, but AUS caught him at 1. Also before the WC, Thirimanna was assigned as our No.6 batsman, so he can easily shift to that place where Tharanga is useless.
